October 8, 2024: Chantilly, VA 22030 Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Paul VI moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 9-0. Leonardtown won 11-0 in their recent league test against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD)
The Tartans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabeth Seton for a Washington Catholic test on Thursday, October 10. The Academy of the Holy Cross will clash with a team coming off a 9-1 league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The record now stands at 5-2.
