October 8, 2024: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their football team nip the host Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD), 10-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Damascus advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Hornets host Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD) to encounter the Coyotes in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 19. The Coyotes go into the battle with a record of 5-0. Clarksburg won 39-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wootton (Rockville, MD)
