Wisconsin High School Soccer - Merrill toppled by Amherst
October 8, 2024: Merrill, WI 54452 Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Amherst advances its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bowler/Gresham Community (Bowler, WI) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bluejays now have a 0-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wausau East for a Wisconsin Valley test on Thursday, October 10. Merrill will clash with a Lumberjacks team coming off a 1-1 league Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 6-6.
