October 8, 2024: New Iberia, LA 70560 The Southside Sharks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host New Iberia Yellowjackets to 0 in the Sharks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sharks now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Acadiana for a Division I District 3 outing on Thursday, October 10. Southside will play a Rams team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Rams record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, New Iberia drops to 7-15 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Carencro (Lafayette, LA) to play the Bears in a Division I District 3 outing on Thursday, October 10. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 6-9. Carencro lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA)
