October 8, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19808 St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Mark's improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to face the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 8-1. Appoquinimink won 3-1 in their recent league test against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE)
The Eagles now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sussex Tech for a Henlopen North test on Thursday, October 10. Smyrna will face a Ravens squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Seaford (Seaford, DE). The Ravens record now stands at 4-5.
