October 8, 2024: Wakpala, SD 57658 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) and the host Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD), observed Standing Rock's volleyball team top Wakpala by a count of 3-0.
The Warriors (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against New Salem (New Salem, ND). The Holsteins enter the B - Region 5 contest with a 6-6 record.
Next, the Sioux battle the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD) in a B Region 6 contest, on Wednesday, October 9. Wakpala will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the contest with a 4-14 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
