Utah High School Football - Bear River can't hold off Deseret Peak
October 8, 2025: Tooele, UT 84074 Deseret Peak Golden Eagles (Tooele, UT) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team nudge the visiting Bear River Bears (Garland, UT), 28-27 in a league test.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Stansbury for a test on Tuesday, October 14. Deseret Peak will meet a Stallions squad coming off a 45-12 non-league loss to Sky View (Smithfield, UT). The Stallions record now stands at 5-3.
The Bears (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeline (Millville, UT). The Riverhawks go into the challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Ridgeline tipped Green Canyon (North Logan, UT), 49-0, in a non-league test.
