Virginia High School Football - Mountain View sneaks past Riverbend
October 8, 2025: Fredericksburg, VA 22407 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Mountain View Wildcats football squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Riverbend Bears.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the North Stafford Wolverines (Stafford, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 20-20 non-league Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA).
The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Colonial Forge tipped Brooke Point (Stafford, VA), 34-12, in a non-league test.
