The Freeburg Midgets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders to 1 in the Midgets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Midgets now possess a 15-11 record. They play next when they host East Alton-Wood River for a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) game on Thursday, October 9. Freeburg will confront a Oilers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Dupo (Dupo, IL). The Oilers record now stands at 2-22.
