Alabama High School Volleyball - Auburn tips Hoover

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL) and the visiting Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), observed Auburn's volleyball team hold off Hoover by a count of 3-2.

With the win, Auburn improves its record to 23-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL) to encounter the Admirals in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. The Admirals go into the battle with a record of 23-13. Bayside Academy lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Saraland (Saraland, AL)

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 10. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 15-20 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 19-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL).
