In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Doyle Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hammond Tornadoes.

The Tigers (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 17-10 record. In their last challenge, St. Amant beat Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tornadoes play the Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) in a Division I District 6 challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Hammond will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record.
