October 8, 2025: New Castle, DE 19720 Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Odessa improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Ducks host Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to face the Jaguars in a Blue Hen - Flight A test on Friday, October 10. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 7-2. Appoquinimink won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Christiana (Newark, DE)
Next, the Colonials meet the Newark Yellowjackets (Newark, DE) in a Blue Hen - Flight A challenge, on Monday, October 13. William Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to McKean (Wilmington, DE).
