October 9, 2021: Carbondale, PA 18407 The Susquehanna Sabers football team (Susquehanna, PA), was beaten 52-26 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA)
The Chargers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings come into the Lackawanna 3 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Riverside was beaten by Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Sabers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Montrose for a Lackawanna 4 challenge on Saturday, October 16. Susquehanna will meet a Meteors team coming off a 50-14 non-league loss to Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Meteors record now stands at 0-6.
