October 9, 2021: Leland, MS 38756 Cornerstone Spartans (Joplin, MO) fans left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their football team run past the host Unity Christian Academy Soldiers (Leland, MS), 28-20 in a league test.
With the win, Cornerstone improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Destiny Christian (Del City, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a Heartland Christian (8 Man) test on Saturday, October 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-1. Destiny Christian won 42-6 in their recent league test against Southwest Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR)
With the loss, Unity Christian Academy moves to 0-4 on the season. The Soldiers host Arkansas Christian Academy (Bryant, AR) to confront the Knights in a Heartland Christian (8 Man) test on Friday, October 29. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-4.
