California High School Volleyball - Taft over Kennedy
October 9, 2021: Granada Hills, CA 91344 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), saw Taft's volleyball squad beat Kennedy by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 19-3 on the year. The Toreadors travel to Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Gondoliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 9. The Gondoliers go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Venice won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA)
The Cougars now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Reseda for a bout on Monday, October 11. Kennedy will play a Regents squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Regents record now stands at 3-9.
