Alabama High School Football - East Lawrence knocked off by Clements
October 9, 2023: Athens, AL 35611 Clements Colts (Athens, AL) fans left the game content Monday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL), 36-20 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Clements improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Elkmont (Elkmont, AL) to battle the Red Devils in a 3A Region 8 test on Friday, October 13. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 4-3. Elkmont won 24-19 in their recent league test against Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL)
With the loss, East Lawrence drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilson (Florence, AL) to battle the Warriors in a 4A Region 7 test on Friday, October 13. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-5. Wilson lost 27-6 in their recent league test against West Limestone (Lester, AL)
