Louisiana High School Volleyball - Denham Springs over Springfield
October 9, 2023: Springfield, LA 70462 Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a Division I District 4 test, on Thursday, October 12. Denham Springs will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Griffins enter the test with a 20-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA).
The Bulldogs (4-14) will now prepare for their test against St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA). The Hawks enter the Division IV District 4 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, St. Helena College and Career Academy was knocked off by Doyle (Livingston, LA), 3-0, in a league test.
