Kentucky High School Volleyball - Nelson County over Highlands Latin
October 9, 2023: Louisville, KY 40243 Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals (21-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Generals enter the District 19 challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Thomas Nelson defeated John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders meet the Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Highlands Latin will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Louisville, KY).
