West Virginia High School Soccer - John Marshall toppled by St. Clairsville
October 9, 2024: Glen Dale, WV 26038 St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 8-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Clairsville advances its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV) to clash with the Maroon Knights in a Ohio Valley Athletic Conference test on Wednesday, October 16. The Maroon Knights come into the test with a record of 16-2. Wheeling Central Catholic won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA)
The Monarchs now have a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Beaver for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. John Marshall will clash with a Beavers team coming off a 4-4 non-league Salem (Salem, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 9-6.
