October 9, 2024: South Hamilton, MA 01982 Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Phillips Exeter Academy Lions (Exeter, NH), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Pingree moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Eastern Independent test on Wednesday, October 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Lions now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northfield Mount Hermon for a NEPSAC Freelance test on Friday, October 11. Phillips Exeter Academy will clash with a Hoggers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Hoggers record now stands at 1-6.
