The Hawks now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Vernon for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. Hayfield will meet a Majors squad coming off a 46-6 non-league win over Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Majors record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Edison drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Annandale (Annandale, VA) to meet the Atoms in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17.
