October 9, 2024: Indian Trail, NC 28079 The Weddington Warriors football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Porter Ridge Pirates to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sun Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. Weddington will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 20-14 non-league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Porter Ridge drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17.
