October 9, 2024: Le Roy, NY 14482 Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Le Roy improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Oatkan Knights host Geneseo (Geneseo, NY) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Eagles now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hornell for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Wayland-Cohocton will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Dansville (Dansville, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-2.
