Maryland High School Soccer - Winters Mill nudges Franklin
October 9, 2024: Westminster, MD 21157 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Winters Mill Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Franklin Indians.
The Falcons (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Woodlawn (Baltimore, MD). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Woodlawn got by New Town (Owings Mills, MD), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Indians play the Hereford Bulls (Parkton, MD) in a Baltimore County 4A/3A outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Bulls go into the outing with a 9-1 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD).
