Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Cranston East overwhelmed by Coventry
October 9, 2024: Coventry, RI 02816 Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Coventry improves its record to 2-10 on the season. The Oakers travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to face the Skippers in a Division 1 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Skippers go into the test with a record of 14-0. North Kingstown won 3-0 in their recent league test against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI)
The Thunderbolts now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pilgrim for a non-league test on Friday, October 11. Cranston East will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 4-9.
