October 9, 2024: Hackensack, NJ 07601 The Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) volleyball held off the visiting Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs (Englewood, NJ), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Northern Highlands for a Big North - Freedom bout on Thursday, October 10. Hackensack will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Dwight-Englewood drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mary Help of Christians Academy (North Haledon, NJ) to clash with the Blue Jays in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 10. The Blue Jays come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Mary Help of Christians Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lacordaire Academy (Upper Montclair, NJ)
