The Aurora Central Trojans football squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting George Washington Patriots to 8 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a 4A Denver Metro test on Thursday, October 16. Aurora Central will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Denver North (Denver, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, George Washington drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Montbello (Denver, CO) to meet the Warriors in a 4A Denver Metro test on Friday, October 17. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-6. Montbello lost 50-0 in their recent league test against Northfield (Denver, CO)
