The Hyannis Longhorns felled the visiting Brady Eagles football team by a score of 56-30 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Hyannis will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 48-32 league win over Mullen (Mullen, NE).

The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE). The Wildcats go into the D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Maxwell topped Bayard (Bayard, NE), 55-8, in a league test.
