The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) and the host Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT), saw Hamden's football team bounce Hillhouse by a final score of 47-13.

With the win, Hamden advances its record to 1-4 on the season. The Green Dragons travel to Guilford (Guilford, CT) to encounter the Grizzlies in a Southern Connecticut bout on Friday, October 24. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Coming up next, the Academics confront the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a Southern Connecticut match, on Friday, October 24. Hillhouse will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 48-6 league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT).
