The La Marque Cougars football squad scored 73 points and limited the visiting Harmony School of Innovation Wildcats to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Royal for a 4A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 17. La Marque will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 28-21 league loss to Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Harmony School of Innovation drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Harmony School of Innovation (Sugar Land, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 4A-2 Region III District 10 challenge on Friday, October 17. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Harmony School of Innovation lost 57-0 in their recent league challenge against Wharton (Wharton, TX)
