Murray Spartans (Murray, UT) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle (Draper, UT), 55-20 in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans play the Skyline Eagles (Salt Lake City, UT) in a 4A Region 10 challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Murray will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 24-7 league loss to Highland (Salt Lake City, UT).

The Soaring Eagle (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Richfield (Richfield, UT). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Richfield was routed by Canyon View (Cedar City, UT), 31-14, in a league test.
