The Valley Forge Patriots felled the visiting Lakewood Rangers football squad by a margin of 56-34 in Thursday's league test.

The Patriots now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Olmsted for a Cleveland West challenge on Friday, October 17. Valley Forge will face a Eagles team coming off a 28-14 league loss to Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Lakewood drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Rangers host Bay (Bay Village, OH) to encounter the Rockets in a Cleveland West bout on Friday, October 17.
