Georgia High School Football - West Hall crushed by Oconee County
October 9, 2025: Oakwood, GA 30566 Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 49-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Oconee County improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to meet the Purple Hurricanes in a AAA Region 8 test on Friday, October 24. The Purple Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 6-2. Monroe Area won 28-16 in their recent league test against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA)
With the defeat, West Hall drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to meet the Vikings in a AAA Region 8 test on Friday, October 24. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. East Hall lost 54-0 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (Jefferson, GA)
