In Thursday's league match, the visiting Veribest Falcons football squad scored a decisive 66-16 victory over the Paint Rock Indians.

The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Water Valley (Water Valley, TX). The Wildcats enter the 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 8 (6 Man) match with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Water Valley walloped Rankin (Rankin, TX), 68-20, in a non-league battle.
