South Carolina High School Football - South Pointe triumphant over York

October 9, 2025: Rock Hill, SC 29730

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) and the visiting York Cougars (York, SC), witnessed South Pointe's football squad wallop York by a tally of 41-0.

The Stallions (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Bruins go into the AAAA Region 3 bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Lancaster smashed Dreher (Columbia, SC), 20-14, in a league bout.

The Cougars now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Camden for a AAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, October 17. York will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 28-7 league loss to South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
