California High School Football - Campolindo thwarted by Monte Vista
October 9, 2025: Moraga, CA 94556 Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA), 21-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Monte Vista advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 6-1. Oak Ridge won 49-14 in their recent league match against Jesuit (Carmichael, CA)
Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a match, on Thursday, October 16. Campolindo will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Dons go into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 28-6 league win over Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
