October 9, 2025: Park Hills, KY 41011 The Covington Catholic Colonels football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Cooper Jaguars to 0 in the Colonels non-league victory on Thursday.
In their next game, the Colonels face the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Covington Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Shamrocks enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 6-3 non-league win over St. Xavier (Louisville, KY).
The Jaguars (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Dixie Heights ran past Conner (Hebron, KY), 54-0, in a non-league challenge.
