October 9, 2025: Waterloo, IL 62298 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) and the visiting Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL), observed Waterloo's volleyball team top Gibault Catholic by a count of 2-0.
The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Althoff Catholic achieved victory over Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. Gibault Catholic will meet a Explorers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Explorers record now stands at 8-11.
