October 9, 2025: Strawberry Plains, TN 37871 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN) and the host Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN), witnessed Halls's soccer team beat Carter by a final score of 5-1.
With the triumph, Halls moves its record to 6-9 on the campaign.
The Green Hornets now sport a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cocke County for a AA District 3 match on Tuesday, October 14. Carter will meet a Fighting Cocks team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Fighting Cocks record now stands at 7-3.
