October 9, 2025: Greenwood, SC 29646 The Emerald Vikings got by the visiting Westside Rams football team by a score of 20-18 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings play the Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Emerald will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 47-0 non-league loss to Laurens (Laurens, SC).
The Rams (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Fury enter the challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Fountain Inn held off Wren (Piedmont, SC), 22-19, in a league test.
