South Carolina High School Football - Marlboro County holds off Georgetown
October 9, 2025: Georgetown, SC 29440 The Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) football tipped the host Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), 18-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dillon for a non-league game on Thursday, October 16. Marlboro County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 34-8 non-league win over Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Loris (Loris, SC). The Lions enter the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Loris edged Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC), 20-16, in a non-league outing.
