California High School Football - Mesa Verde tops Non JV Opponent
October 9, 2025: Citrus Heights, CA 95621 The Mesa Verde Mavericks football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Non JV Opponent to 12 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mavericks now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Golden Sierra for a challenge on Friday, October 17. Mesa Verde will face a Grizzlies team coming off a 28-7 league win over Esparto (Esparto, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-4.
The (22-47) will now prepare for their challenge against Anthony (Anthony, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Anthony lost by Cathedral (El Paso, TX), 38-0, in a non-league outing.
