In Thursday's non-league game, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), by a tally of 35-14.

Next, the Comets clash with the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 16. North Stanly will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).

With the defeat, South Stanly drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Rowdy rebel bulls host Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, October 30. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-1.
