October 9, 2025: Plainfield, NJ 07063 The Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) soccer nipped the visiting Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 16. Plainfield will face a Minutemen team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Carteret (Carteret, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 5-0.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
