October 9, 2025: Washington, DC 20017 The Archbishop Carroll Lions soccer team (Washington, DC), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Thursday's non-league match with the visiting DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD)
With the triumph, DeMatha advances its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Stags travel to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to clash with the Knights in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Bishop O'Connell lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)
With the loss, Archbishop Carroll moves to 1-10 on the year. The Lions host Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to play the Falcons in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) bout on Tuesday, October 21. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
