Illinois High School Soccer - St. Mary's South Side knocks off Granite City
October 9, 2025: Granite City, IL 62040 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting St. Mary's South Side Dragons soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the Granite City Warriors.
The Dragons (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Whitfield (St. Louis, MO). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 0-6 record.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 13. Granite City will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Maroons come into the test with a 14-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, IL).
