The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish volleyball team (Kankakee, IL), was knocked off 2-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Aurora Christian Eagles (Aurora, IL)

The Eagles (21-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights enter the Chicagoland Christian contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Chicago Christian notched a victory over IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Fightin' Irish meet the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Bishop McNamara will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Gladiators go into the battle with a 7-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL).
