Minnesota High School Volleyball - Columbia Heights overwhelmed by Spectrum
October 9, 2025: Elk River, MN 55330 Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Spectrum advances its record to 20-4 on the season. The Sting travel to Blake (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. The Bears go into the test with a record of 10-9.
The Hylanders now sport a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Washington Tech for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. Columbia Heights will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hmong Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.
