The East Vikings edged the visiting Great Valley Patriots volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Vikings now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Perkiomen Valley for a non-league outing on Monday, October 13. East will play a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Methacton (Norristown, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Great Valley drops to 3-7 on the year. The Patriots host Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA) to confront the Golden Knights in a Ches-Mont game on Monday, October 13.
