Unity Christian Crusaders (Hudsonville, MI) boosters were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Ludington Orioles (Ludington, MI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 25-15 record. In their last challenge, Vicksburg edged Niles (Niles, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Orioles meet the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Ludington will attempt to upgrade on its 20-15 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Union (Grand Rapids, MI).
